Scouting America Level 1 Leave No Trace Instructor Course 🗓

For the first time in our history, the Western Los Angeles County Council is offering a Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor training course.

This is a 16-hour course over two days, established and developed by Leave No Trace (lnt.org) and offered through a joint participation agreement with Scouting America. The BSA Level Leave No Trace Instructor course empowers scouts (14+) and adults to deeply understand, practice, and teach minimum impact techniques. It provides the skills to run LNT workshops, fulfill, and instruct others in ethical outdoor stewardship, making it essential for unit leaders and high-adventure participants.
